Rules and regulations

Rules

1. Kayak and bike have to have racing stickers on.
2. Bib number are to be weared all the times, so it is visible.Teams are using bib number as relay rod and have to give it on to next races. Competitors without bibs will be disqualified.
3. Teams are combinet of 2 or 3 racers, for category we will count years as racers are in disciplines.
4. Split time kayak – it will be measured close to the  refreshments point.
5. Split time bike – it will be measured on the line, where racers is taking off the bike.
6. On cycling race all racers have to follow traffic regulations, even that the roads will be closed. Bike helmet is mandatory.
7. Most of the biking trail is on macadam road, so we are recomending mountain bikes.
8. Competitors are allowed to use poles for running part of race.
9. Escorts on race are not allowed.
10. Delivery of racers equipment(running shoes, clothes) is organised to bike/run exchange point. Competitor can leave all the stuff in organisers van on info point with the ticket the is in racers bag.
11. With entry, the competitor accepts all the rules and confirms that he/she is healthy, he/she is all-round physically prepared and able to pass on all the efforts on this challenging game. This confirms the familiarity with the rules and confirms that he/she will take into account all the instructions of the organizer and that he/she will compete at his/her own risk. The competitor against the organizer will not apply for any claim or action for any damage that he/she would suffer in relation to participation in this event. The competitor also agrees that these personal data is collected, used and processed for the organizational purposes of the organizer and kept until cancellation by the competitor.
12. Return of bib numbers is in the finish area. With the return every racer will get coupons for food and drink on Vodnik's mountain hut. For racers that will not enter the finish line, it is mandatory to return the bib numbers in the event area Pod skalco.

4. Mountain pasture Konjščica: water
5. Jezerca – water
6. Studorski preval – water
7. Vodnik's mountain hut(finish) – soup, water, tea, isotonic drink

Lunch is available on event area of Biathlon centre Pokljuka between 14:00 and 17:30 (with the coupon).

Escorts and fans

Drive over mountain pasture Uskovnica is not allowed. To access exchange point between bike and run, you can use 2 roads:

1. Bohinjsko jezero - Podjelje - Goreljek - Šport hotel - Rudno polje
2. Bohinjsko jezero - Koprivnik - Mrzli Studenec - Rudno polje

Awards

For the entry everybody will recieve a bag with a technical t-shirt of Steelman Bohinj. For everybody that will finish the race there are special medals. First 3 in every category will recieve cups and awards from our sponsors. Special award is every year given to the racers that are 10th time on race. Sponsors are promising nice awards for this years race.

Results & cheese ceremony

We don't call it flower ceremony :)

16:00 unformal results will be posted in our event area. Complaint time is between 16:30 and 17:00 at Info point of the event

Equipment

Kayaks have to be taken till 20:00 at the exchange point kayak/bike ONLY WITH THE CONTROL TICKET

Bikes have to be taken till 16:30 at the exchange point bike/run ONLY WITH THE CONTROL TICKET
